Our Story

Founded in 2013 by Gustavo Cadena at Tec de Monterrey, Omius was born from a quest to combat heat in one of Mexico’s hottest cities. Inspired by cooling systems used for computers and engines, we developed innovative headgear that acts as a heat sink to cool the skin—recognised as one of Time Magazine’s “Best Inventions of 2024.” Trusted by Olympic and Ironman champions, we’re on a mission to help people thrive in a warming world.
